Don’t you let it. Don’t let em steal your joy, joy, joy!” – This Life. We Lead., “Joy 36:5”

The last time you stopped through the discussion was about speaking things until you actually saw them. At this time, I want to expand on that a little bit. Not knowing when you’ll actually see what you’re believing for can be a frustrating process. While waiting, what should you do? I’m glad that you asked! It is important that you have joy while you wait.

By definition, joy is the emotion evoked by well-being, success, or good fortune or by the prospect of possessing what one desires. I want to focus on the last part of the definition. It is written that weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. This is the part that you rejoice over. Why? Because even though you’re waiting, no matter how it looks, no matter how long it takes, you know that you will possess what you desire.

Make sure to not let what things look like stop you from getting what you’ve been speaking and believing for. Make sure to not allow the circumstance(s) to steer you away from getting your desires. Don’t you let it. Don’t let em steal your joy, joy, joy! Keep holding on to your desires no matter how hard it gets. Through all things remain joyful. Have a good weekend!
